It's right off the highway so you'll probably drive past it at some point.

Pretty underrated spot. Some great restaurants, nice buildings, and solid shopping. It worth checking out.
Always remember that Virginia Beach is MASSIVE geographically. There's so much more than just the boardwalk.....but you should totally check out the boardwalk.
